Brennan Healing Science is an enlightening system of sophisticated healing techniques and transformative processes used to support the evolution of human life and spirit. It draws its students not only from the United States, but worldwide. Students travel across the globe to attend classes five times a year for five days over four years. The school was established in 1982 and has graduated many talented healers who have dedicated their lives to healing themselves and being in service to others who are awakening and longing to integrate into full and healthy Beings. The Barbara Brennan School of Healing has been granted the right to present Professional Studies diplomas and a Bachelor of Science Degree in the area of Holistic Health by the Commission for Independent Education in Florida.
The study of Brennan healing Science is an all encompassing program of study that leads the healer to unfoldment in all aspects of the Self and in awakening to all relationships that exist within the realm of each individual. It is a sacred container of Light that supports each person to bring more awareness and consciousness to the reality that they perceive as real and in waking up to what is True light and a more effortless way of Living. It gives its students a taste of the Divine and the tools to discover the core qualities that exist in all of us: Trust, Acceptance, Respect, Love, Expression of Creativity, The Higher Realms of Existence and a clearer Connection to God. Living in Intentionality and Divine Light is our birthright as fellow human beings.
What happens in a BHS Session?
Working with the human energy consciousness system is a beautiful and profound experience. When a client walks in the door, a sacred space has already been created which is holy and in service to that unique being who has just entered into the new space of client and healer.
The Brennan Healing Practitioner will interview the client in a holistic and comprehensive way. During this time, the BHP is curious, listening and observing the energy patterns of the moment and inviting the Highest Good for the session and the Divine unfoldment of the individual. Once this is complete, the client lies down on a massage table, fully clothed and supported to be in comfort.
Generally, the BHP will start a chelation (clearing, charging and balancing the chakras) at the feet and move superiorly up the body. As the BHP stays present and in connection with the earth, Self, and spirit, he/she is constantly working with the energy for healing of the client and opening up into a fuller and deeper conscious connection. Often times, certain techniques will be called for such as: filling the field with colors, restructuring lines of light, 5th level surgery, hara or core star healings. It is a fluid dance between BHP and client that is very gentle and kind.
When the session is complete, the BHP checks on the client, mostly focusing on holding silence so that the healing can be held and integrated. If the client has a lot of questions, it is recommended to write them down for the next session.
This is a hands-on healing system that works with an individual’s energy consciousness system to create physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.

BIP/Supervision in the Brennan Healing Science Model
In addition to the four-year study program, students are offered the opportunity to study more in-depth techniques and energy psychology as an advanced program. This is a two-year program that prepares students to possibly teach or for those who are interested in fine-tuning skills. This is also a program that prepares graduates to be able to support a students process or run groups when certain personal issues come up during the four years. When graduated, this person is called a BIP.
Sharon Hartnett is a Brennan Integration Practitioner (BIP) and has also taught at the Barbara Brennan School including leading group Supervision there as well. Sharon provided both individual and group BIP sessions to current students. Hourly sessions are available.
