Almost every adult person that I have met along the journey of my life has at one time or another asked the questions, “Who Am I? What is the purpose of my life? Why
Am I Here?” There seems to be something inside that feels like it is missing, or something that is forgotten and Essential that calls to the soul.
Some people choose to pay attention to these questions and others are drawn elsewhere. For the people who feel a longing for some type of deeper connection to the Source, the Path opens up and a conscious Journey of discovery begins. For each individual, this is a unique exploration of the Divine. For those who do not continue to listen, life will give them plenty of opportunities to awaken as well. The door is always open and each person has the right to free choice on this level. It’s a glorious gift to have forgotten and then to be called back no matter how one responds to the calling or how the return takes shape. This is all part of the Divine picture of creativity for human beings.
In his world in which we live, we have been presented a world of apparent duality. In our pursuit of creativity we have lost touch to our wholeness, our completeness, and the full essence of God. That is why we are also seeking that which is outside of us in the material world. People find themselves with addictions to drugs, to food, to bad habits, negative thinking, to unhealthy relationships. The list goes on. But this is nothing that is bad or unholy. Our decisions are a gift that God has given us as human beings to experience life exactly as it is. So why not appreciate exactly where we are and the blessings that are offered in any instant? Why not use fresh open eyes to see what else is here in the moment?
So I come back to this state of apparent “separateness”. The place of forgetfulness can also bring along feelings of conflict, depression and suffering. When we have moved so far away from God in our thinking, it can feel very painful. Our thoughts tell us a story that we believe to be true, but in fact are just constructs of the mind that we have learned from others. As one generation moves to the next, these lessons are passed on too until the cycle of Divine completion takes place. The soul has a wondrous opportunity here to look directly at the shadow of humanity and to let the essence of God wake it up into the Light. The healthy ego will say, “Yes, I am open to knowing my places of stuckness and ignorance, and also welcoming to the Light Within”. This is the journey into Unity.
So what is the Soul? I think each of us has an experience of soul if we only take the time to listen. In my experience and way of thinking, it is the Divine Spark that is within each of us that has contracted with certain belief systems to create certain experiences which are growth oriented and part of the evolution of humanity. We enter certain families and cultures in our incarnation that help us o consider Divine qualities in its own perspective rather than the whole. When we start to bridge communication between the part and the soul, the wave and the dot, the lower self and, the Higher Self, individual and the collective, we find transformation, and holy life in its fullest expression.
We can never find true satisfaction from that which is outside of ourselves. For that would be like trying to put a band-aid on a festering wound. It would be like touching shadow rather than pure light. It would be like never seeing the whole picture of God. No matter what religion or spiritual background one comes from, the journey calls in a way that is always there to meet you and remind you that you are made up of the same which is God. The rest is only a reflection.
My journey with you is to reawaken that connection which is the TRUTH. If you truly want to know your purpose here on earth, I will stand with you to uncover the stories, and the misconceptions of duality. We will call on the Divine Mind and Love of God to awaken the human heart and soul of compassion. Nothing could be more profound and meaningful than to be in service to the One God that permeates All. Welcome to remembering the Journey of that which already IS YOU!
